The Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture (AGORA) program offers free or low-cost access to leading scientific journals in agriculture and related fields like biological, environmental, and social sciences for public institutions in developing countries. Initiated in October 2003, AGORA provides access to more than 3,000 journals from prominent academic publishers.

Led by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, AGORA aims to enhance the quality and impact of agricultural research, education, and training in low-income nations to help improve food security. The platform allows researchers, policy-makers, educators, students, technical experts, and extension workers to access timely, high-quality agricultural information online.

Founding publishers, including Blackwell Publishing, CABI Publishing, Elsevier, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins, Nature Publishing Group, Oxford University Press, Springer-Verlag, and John Wiley & Sons, initially contributed over 400 journals. Currently, 82 publishers provide journal content to AGORA
